Who we are

pylondev is a software development agency that designs, builds, and runs AI systems, custom software, and SaaS for founders and product teams. Our tagline is “Load-bearing software,” and we mean it literally: we build the parts a business depends on, the ones that have to work when someone is counting on them.

We work on a build-and-run model. The same senior engineers who design a system operate it through its first weeks in production. There is no handoff to a team that was not in the room when the decisions were made, and no document that stands in for people who actually understand the thing. If it breaks at launch, the people who built it are the people who fix it.

How we work

We scope the outcome first, build it end to end, and keep running it. End to end means design, testing, deployment, and the revisions that come after real users touch it. We do not hand you a prototype and wish you luck. We stay until the system is doing the job it was scoped to do.

We reach for AI where it genuinely helps and a simpler deterministic system where it does not. A lot of our job is telling the difference. An AI feature that is confidently wrong ten percent of the time can be worse than no feature at all, and a plain rules engine is often the honest answer. When AI is the right tool, we build it with the evaluations, guardrails, and monitoring that keep it dependable after the launch excitement fades. Founder

pylondev was founded by Ali Shan Nasir. He works hands-on with startups shipping AI agents, LLM features, and MVPs into production, which is a different discipline from getting a demo to impress a room. He can speak to what separates an AI demo from a system a business trusts, how to scope an MVP so it proves the right thing, where the real cost drivers hide in custom software, and where AI earns its place versus where a simpler system wins.
